From December 12 to 17, 2017, the Europe Theatre Prize celebrated its 30ies anniversary in Rome. The members of E:UTSA have been invited to attend the whole programme. Each day there were various panels and performances at Palazzo Venezia, Teatro Argentina and other venues in the city. This year the Europe Theatre Prize has been awarded to Isabelle Huppert and Jeremy Irons. The Europe Prize Theatrical Realities, which each year is awarded alongside the Europe Theatre Prize, was given this year to Susanne Kennedy, Jernej Lorenci, Yael Ronen, Alessandro Sciarroni, Kirill Serebrennikov and Theatre NO99.
On December 16, all members of the E:UTSA network who travelled to Rome, met for an informal meeting and discussed further ideas and projects within the network.
