The 11/11 project this year will be a performance over two days: a dialogue between two projects, the European Balcony Project and 11/11, with the topic, ‘The Future of Europe.’
On the 10th of November, each participating E:UTSA school will proclaim the European Republic Manifesto on a theatre balcony, staircase, school ground or other public place.
On the 11th of November, each participating group performs their idea of the future Europe with the manifesto.
More information about this exciting project is outlined in the Open Calls below.
Each year, the usual weekly courses of the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts of Paris are interrupted during one week to give place to workshops created in collaboration with 3 other national art schools.
In 2017, the Conservatoire decided to create an international workshop opened to E:UTSA students during that same week named “Turbo” and to carry on each year.
In 2018 this week runs from 19th to 24th of March 2018.
Acting, directing and dramaturgy students from EUTSA schools are invited to participate in the European “Turbo” workshop.
The directing and dramaturgy students should agree to also perform during the workshop, if the project needs more performers.
It’s a student led workshop opened to 12 acting students of the schools of E:UTSA and two acting students of the French Conservatory. Together, they will create a short performance of 20 minutes that will be presented on March 24 at the end of the “Turbo” week.
Students will be in contact before the workshop begins and a topic will be chosen.
Each EUTSA school should send the names of a maximum of two students. Please send the names latest until March 1 to Grégory Gabriel, Head of Studies at the Conservatoire: email@example.com.
If more than 10 students wish to register, participants will be chosen randomly.
Each school will be responsible for the travel expenses of its students, who will be hosted by French students (coach surfing).

On November 11, 2017 at 11.11am the first edition of the student-led EUTSA project “11/11” happened!
The celebration of play reading comes from the idea of three students from Malmö. The project became one of the first trie-outs to unite different EUTSA schools over one text. In the 2017 performance, 6 theater schools/academies (Munich, Paris, Glasgow, Vilnius, Rome and Hanover) participated with 3 to 4 actors. There was one scene of the play Mi$$ written by Alexandra Loonin (Malmö) which every school performed on the same day. The performances were documented and are now available on Vimeo, Facebook and Instagram. The project shows the European wide connection in theatre.
11/11 2018 will happen on the 11th of November 2018.
You find the original Invitation below. We look forward to the second edition this year!
