The way the academy functions can be considered in the following dimensions: internal – strictly educational (of a closed nature, based on the termination in small groups of the master-student principle, as well as within artistic works and research, developed by the academic staff) and external (within of which the Academy is an artistic institution presenting the diploma performances and workshop performances starred or directed by students for the audiences of Warsaw and Białystok, and Poland). Institution, which develops and publish publications, organizes conferences, symposia, open days and meetings with importance for Polish culture personas.
